equality vs unicity

We all deserve the same and yet the world can never hold any space where that can be achieved. It’s exactly why the world can’t be described in black and white. Every single perception altered by the edges we cross, filled with every detail enfolded. The things we like about a person, what we notice about them, what we don’t notice about them. The way hair falls over someone’s cheeks, the crooked smile emerging at silly jokes, the way someone reacts, the corner of a persons eye and the way it wrinkles on the side, the way someone’s legs seem to be attached to their bodies, the way a mind deals with a great deal of pain, misintend, the way somebody loves with one eye closed and the other twitching, the way someone knows how to turn their fingers into fluidity to let them flow over blacks and whites, scattering their emotions through the room in whole and half notes, the way a face changes at the announcement of a loss big or small. A father mother lover friend or sister will never again be held in their arms. And then the sea wind finds its way through someone’s hair and eyelashes which have been coloured as many times as their emotions had made a U-turn, the not thought out wishful bashing moments wandering in our way, trampling in our wake, and then take all of that and scramble it up and there you have the next person. Believe me, the world is coloured, nothing is one-sided, or straight, or simple, not much is answerable, except the possibility of our own passing. You deserve the world as much as I do, and yet we’re all prejudiced, we’re all pre-formed, misinformed, imbedded, persuaded, enchanted, unique. We are forced to be all that we are. And there space lends opportunity. To breathe, to talk, to understand. To grant permission to dance along life's arches and bends in a most graceful manner never to be caught again.
